At last Leonardo DiCaprio won his first Oscar for survival epic The Revenant, after six nominations. He was named best actor at the 88th Academy Awards.

Leonardo DiCaprio has been fortunate this time at the Oscars, as he takes home the trophy for the Best Actor for his stellar execution in The Revenant.

Leo has been named five times before in the Academy Awards. Sadly, he had never been sufficiently fortunate to take the brilliant woman home.

Eagerly, everybody had been sitting tight for the declaration of the Best Actor grants. The Titanic star got the trophy from moderator Julianne Moore, who sat tight for a well-considered time before taking Leo's name.

The mood of the Dolby Theater was tensed amid this time, as the whole assembly hall had held their breaths in expectation.

The Wolf of the Wall Street performing artist got an overwhelming applause as he grabbed the trophy.

His enthusiastic yet effective acknowledgment discourse won our hearts. Touching upon the theme of climatic changes on the planet, his discourse was entirely interesting. He said, "Let us not take our planet for granted. I do not take tonight for granted."

So, let's we congratulate him.
